HostedLocally (hostedlocally.co.uk) is a website providing tutorials and resources for home labs and local AI. It is operated as an independent project based in the United Kingdom.

We only collect data when you choose to create an account. We do not track visitors who browse the site without signing in.

When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your Google profile picture URL
• The date your account was created

We do not collect passwords, payment information, or any other personal data.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display your name and profile picture on your profile page
• Identify you across sessions so you stay signed in

We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for advertising.

Where your data is stored

Your account data is stored securely with Supabase, on servers located in Europe. Authentication is handled via Google OAuth — we never see or store your Google password.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is set by Supabase and is strictly necessary for authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time.

• Delete your account: Go to your profile page and use the “Delete account” button. This permanently removes all your data from our database.
• Data requests: Email us at hostedlocally@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users directly.
